One thing that I always believe is that what you wear and how you look has a huge impact on how you feel. Hence, for me, since the feeling in Goa is so unique and different, I feel that my dressing needs to be able to complement and enhance that feeling, so here are some Must-wear this season when in Goa,

Cool Stuff to wear in GOA

1. Bikini & Monokini – Begin here

Even if you have never worn it before, wear it now. Comeon its GOA! You have to try all kind of stuffs you have never dared to. If you have a curvy body or even if you don’t, if you are a shy girl or not, there is nobody out here judging you. Wear your heart out and try all kind of Swimwear – even those that you know you wont wear again till you are back to Goa

2. Sarong – Cover with style

Nothing is sexier than a woman in a perfectly wrapped cover up when just out of the water. So, the next time you go shopping or packing your bags, remember that a cover up is just as important. It gives you a hotter look plus saves you from some tan too.

3. Shorts – Most of them

Pack a lot of shorts – all kinds. Shorts with oversized T-shirts, Shirts,Tanks etc  you can buy them off the streets in Goa too. Carry at least a couple of denim shorts and a few cotton ones.

4. Tank Tops And T-Shirts – Comfort and style

Tank tops and a flowing cape or a boyfriend T-shirt with cotton shorts is all you will need when you are in Goa. If you have not been there, you will see for yourself that’s all people wear anyway. More than anything, considering the humidity and the sun, you cannot survive in anything else. Carry them for a comfortable wear all day.

5. Lingerie – Take lots

You never know when you want to jump into the water or rather get pushed into the water by your fellow friends. So, account for extra pairs, always. Besides, in weather conditions like that, you can repeat your outer clothing, but not lingerie. It’s just too gross!. Pack too many extra.

6. Dresses – Breathe free

Even if you are not taking a swim in the azure waters, and want to sit by the shack and get lost in a book, do it in style!.  One piece flowing, bohemian kind dresses and maxis are the best clothes to wear in Goa that match the Goan vibe, so be sure to carry them all.

7. Dhoti Or Harem Pants – Replacement for shorts

Swap the shorts with palazzos, harem or dhoti pants if you are not thrilled with the idea of wearing shorts. These still fall under the perfect beachwear category.

8. Sunscreen – Lots n Lots

Summers in Goa can get intense, so you do not want to end up with that horrible tan. Sun and sea water can be a dangerous combination if you don’t plan to combat it. Sunscreen is a must – and please buy that waterproof once.

9. Flip-Flops – A Must

Flip-flops and comfortable beach shoes. That’s it! Even if you decide to spend the evenings sitting by the bar, go for fashionable yet comfortable shoes like gladiators, platform heels, etc. For everywhere else, stick to crocs, flip-flops, and comfortable footwear. You can show off those High Heels new shoes elsewhere. This is not the place for it.

10. Sunglasses – Goes without Saying

A sunglass protects your eyes from the sun.. Was this new information? LOL. It also completes your beach look.  Buy a stylish one from the beach side for penny, you may not use such jazzy ones when you are back. But, do some out of the box fashion when in Goa.

11. Accessories – Trendy ones

Keep your shadi ke Zevar at home, Flaunt some attractive, chunky, and statement neckpieces or huge finger rings. Mix and match so that they match your bikini, cover up, and any other evening dresses you decide to carry. Don’t carry more, buy them there at Anjuna Flea market.

12. Fedora/Hats –  Its Fun too

Go for some classy hats, please, and not the tacky ones. There’s no bigger turn-off!  A stylish hat will make you look incredibly hot and at the same time will protect you from heat. Buy them from the Market near Baga Lanes if you forget to carry from home. 

13. Beach Towels – Cute Ones

Yes, It does fall under the ‘MUST-HAVE’ category! Still you cannot completely ignore the fact that a cute beach towel add to your look. Take them while shopping for your dresses. Find the correct one which nobody else will have. After all, you are an eve candy. Aren’t you?

14. Beach Bags – Stylish ones

It looks incredibly chic and stylish, what else can you carry all your stuff in? Your regular office sling bag or that not-so-great looking backpack? NO NO NO. Buy a cute oversized beach handbag if you care about the aesthetics of your overall outfit, or just a decent looking big bag that can endure sand and water and still look a teeny bit stylish.
