Long Bike Rides from Mumbai - Monsoon Bliss

wasted on materialistic things and behind the desk jobs done all week long.
Mumbai is a place that is surrounded by many destinations to
explore. A true biker has done almost all rides already. So, this post is for
bike enthusiastic bikers who wish to find new destinations and explore them. So
people let’s fire up our motorbike and take off.
1. Malvan (Around 480 Kms from Mumbai)
When
life gets complicated, Take a Bike Ride. Ride To this delightful trip that takes you
through Tarkali Beach, Malvan Beach, Sindhudurg Fort, Tsunami Island, and
Deobaug. Explore
the stunning Sindhudurg Fort, built with the help of huge rocks on the Kurte
Island. Enjoy the virgin Tarakarli Beach with pristine waters. Delight in the unmatched
beauty of Tsunami Island, a small island on the delta of the Tarkarli River.

2. Kilad Forest / Vansda National Park (Around 260km
from Mumbai)

related, The road makes you family’. Accumulate your biker family and head
towards this destination for a trip full of wildlife. Kilad forest campsite is an unexplored
getaway around 260 km from Mumbai. You will cross the lush green fields of
Igatpuri then head to hills of marvelous Saputara. The last 20kms leading to
Kilad is adventurous with rocky, uneven roads. You can ride right into the
Vansda National Park and take up a stay over there for the weekend. Take a dip in the brooks around, cut the fog
early morning, watch wild animals and be lost in nature this weekend.
3. Saswad (Around 200 kms from Mumbai)
Saswad, holds a strong historical place! Well acclaimed for
various ancient temples, enthral in the beauty of these 1000 year old ancient
beauties. Just Kick-start your journey, Visit Purndare Palace, admire the
awe-inspiring beauty of this stunning palace, then head straight to
Sangameshwar & Changavateshwar Temples, a well-acclaimed ancient temple
dedicated to Lord Shiva. Mesmerize with the placid beauty of this quaint
located on the confluence of Rivers Karhe and Chambli. Come on! Nothing compares
to the simple pleasure of a bike ride. Isn’t it?.
4. Dapoli (Around 200km from Mumbai)
Whoever said Money cant buy happiness, never had a bike. A bike ride to Dapoli
is very close to achieving happiness in true sense. A bikeride to Dapoli will take you through
some of the magnificiant beaches. Enroute Dapoli has stopovers at Murud, Karde,
Harani and Anjarla. We strongly suggest taking a nightover at a place, which
you find best for a halt. After all who doesn’t like to stay up late night
gazing stars with chilled beer in hand.
5. Bhandardara via Murbad (Around 180km from
Mumbai)
Race the Rain, Ride the Wind and Chase the Sunset at Bhandardhara. This is
a route that includes tricky ghats so getting to Bhandardara via Murbad is a wonderful
experience for bikers. You can take the Murbad-Majshej-Bhandardara route. This
trip can serve as the perfect monsoon getaway with hills, greenery, water
bodies and Birds. Stay over at Bhandardhara for a day and leave back the next
day. Join office after relaxing your soul.
6. Tikona (Around 120 kms
from Mumbai)
Tikona (also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in
Maval in western India and is located near Kamshet around 60km from Pune.
The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500ft high hill is
pyramidal in shape. Revv up your bikes and get ready for the ride of a
lifetime! Trek up the slopes of the massive peaks and explore the historic
forts around! Get your gear ready and depart on your bikes
7. Udwada (Around 190 km from
Mumbai)
When life gives you lemons, trade them and get a bike. A bike trip to the coastal town of Udwada will surely
relax you from the stressful month you had. The highway is in extremely good
shape and will let you cruise along at whatever speed you prefer. This place
enroutes some good beaches, also contains the Zoroastrian Atash Behram – the
oldest place of worship of its kind, which has established Udwada as a popular
pilgrim centre too. Do not forget to eat delicious Parsi food there. You will
linger the taste lifetime.
8. Kaas (Around 270 km from
Mumbai)

A monsoon ride is perfect time to head here, The road is through beautiful landscapes, Mountains, Good food joints and tiny waterfalls. 9. Aaravi beach (Around 190
km from Mumbai)
‘Sometimes in the middle of nowhere you discover yourself’.
Take this ride to discover the enlighten one in you. Aravali beach is ahead of
Diveagarh. Remember to take a left before Alibag to Kurul and ride along the
coast down straight. The bumpy narrow road goes through some amazingly scenic
landscapes comprising of hill climbs, cliffs and white sand beaches. You can
load your bikes on a boat to cover the Rajapuri to Dighi distance and then ride
on to Aaravi.
10. Toranmal hill station (Around 450km from
Mumbai)
Toranmal is a beautiful yet hidden hill station in the Satpur range of Maharashtra. At 1400m above sea level and no cellphone network, it is a fine choice for that perfect getaway from the city.
The ride to is exciting with a beautiful lake view just ahead
of Ranipur Village. The ghats provide some adventurous riding opportunities
with interesting hair pin bends and a forest like ambiance. So dear friends, don’t wait for life, Ride and meet it.
