§  Tibetan Monasteries

The famous Tibetan monasteries – Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa and Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa – draw a large number of tourists, and are among the most visited and certainly one of the best place to visit in Manali. By Rail: Jogindernagar is the nearest railway station that connects Manali with several important cities of the country. Chandigarh and Ambala make other prominent options to reach Manali by train. One can easily get a prepaid taxi or a cab, or a bus at a reasonable rate to Manali.
