1.    Smaaash:

How about Sumo Wrestling this weekend?. Smaaash is a first of its kind activity center for kids. Spipperty Hopperty is a fun place for kids at Santacruz. Built in the area of 4500Sqft, this place has all the reasons why you should take them here. With an entry fee, 2 parents can accompany kids, which makes quite a family. Doesn’t it?

4. Essel World:


We have a lot of memories of our childhood from Essel world. Till date it is the best and most convenient. With an option of thrilling rides, Good food and water games, this entertainment destination appeals to kids of all ages. Hedge Maze, Aqua Dive Ride, Crazy Cups, Ice-skating rink, Cricket ground,  a massive killer ship cum science museum and bowling alleys are loved by kids. Essel World is indeed the most famous theme park, not just in Mumbai, but also in India.

5. Nehru Planetarium:

Make science a fun for kids, let them know all planets by showing them like reality. Nehru Center, the planetarium will fascinate your kids with breathtakingly beautiful images of planets, stars, and day and night cycles. The planetarium is not just an excellent tourist spot for the kids, but also one of the best places to visit in Mumbai with family. The auditorium here hosts screens shows on astronomy. Make sure you check out the Children’s Science Park, an area with mechanical stuff like an old tramcar and loads of things to push and pull. 

6. Adlabs Imagica:

Take your kids to Adlabs Imagica for an unforgettable day. I promise! They will remember this day even when they grow up and will still have stories about it. From magic carousel for the tiny tots to crazy teacup rides for the whole family, Adlabs Imagica has it all. If your child can brave the adventurous, high-speed rides or the massive roller-coasters, then he can try out the Gold Rush, Nitro or the Scream Machine. You will also find many cyclists, clowns, magicians and stilt walkers walking around the park, giving it a street-carnival kind of feel. Adlabs Imagica is just 60 kms away from Mumbai. 
7. Sanjay Gandhi National Park:

Getting your kids close to nature is your responsibility. You are the one who can plant good things in your kid’s mind. So on a monsoon weekend, go wildlife spotting with your children in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The forest reserve in located in Borivalli Mumbai. It has the perfect temperature that you would want from a city getaway. You can also hire by-cycles or take your car or bike inside.  Show them birds, waterfalls, caves, squirrels, little animals and ofcourse – A Tiger.

8.  Taraporewala Aquarium:


Don’t show F for Fish in the books this Sunday. Head to Taraporewala Aquarium. Taraporewala Aquarium, the oldest aquarium in the country. It houses a variety of marine and freshwater fishes, which will capture the attention of the little ones. The Fish Spa will appeal to your kid, where he can dip his feet deep in the water. Touch Pool is another popular attraction, where children can dip their hands into the water and touch the inhabitants, under supervision, of course.


9.  Elephanta Caves:

Fun starts the moment you take a ferry boat from Gateway of India to head to Elephanta Caves. The cave houses magnificent cave temples built between 5th to 8th centuries, which make it one of the most popular tourist places in Mumbai for kids. It has five Hindu Caves, with carved statues of Hindu deities and two Buddhist caves. But the most compelling attraction of the caves is the 20 feet tall “Trimurti” sculptor. The three heads of Lord Shiva represent protection, creation, and destruction. Let your kids know their roots, Take them to Elephanta Caves soon.
10. H2O Water Complex:


Any season is fun season for kids. Head to the H2O water complex park located at Girgaon Chowpatty. This water park offers beach and water related activities like water skiing; jet skiing, parasailing, beach volleyball, kayaking, surfing, and many more. Safety is one of the top most priorities of this park. The theme park has employed certified and well-trained lifeguards for the safety of kids. So don’t worry, water is fun now.
11. The New India CHS Garden

Controlling children when they are playing is a difficult task. With soft flooring in place, parents are reassured that no harm can occur even if a child were to take a tumble. The colorful flooring attracts the kids and they can hip, hop and play all evening.
