Friends who Ditch you on Every Trip - Bahanebaz & Dramebaz
There are friends, there are
best friends and there are best ditching friends. This latter category of
friends are dangerous. They can pull out themselves anytime from a planned
trip. Sometimes even last moment.
You know this
very well that they will ditch, but you still included them in planning the
next holiday. In the beginning they will make it sound super exciting and will
be involved in every discussion on planning, but as the date approaches nearer-
BOOM! Here comes an excuse!
So a two
minutes silence for all such friends whom we also call as ‘Taangu- the one who
hangs the plan in middle of nowhere’ and here are some excuses that they make,
1. “I am Sick Bro”
Indeed!. she
is always sick. And she can blame it on anyone for getting her this viral infection.
She will get this a day before and will be on its peak on the day you all have
to leave. The worst part, when you call her she will be at the doctor. The best
part, her mom will pick up the call.
2. “I am Broke Bro”
Yes, he is
never broke on a date with his girlfriend. But for a trip with friends he is
forever broke. The worst part is that this message will come from a latest
mobile phone which he has purchased a week ago. ‘Never broke for shopping, always
broke for a trip’ we call this friend a BROKE BRO.
3. “Project Deadline Bro”
The deadline
of a project will be exactly on the day of her project. This will come only
after you have booked all your tickets on a non refundable basis. Ok cool! Try
shifting your date to 3 days ahead, her deadline will also move.
4. “Boyfriend/Girlfriend is not allowing yar Bro”
“My girlfriend is not allowing me for a week”.
Dear friend, your girlfriend is an ass. She creates this black magic last
moment. And for some good reason she always wins. She is powerful dude! We surrender.
5. “Mummy-Papa not allowing Bro”
This Sita Devi friend will never even try to convince them. Not also for an amazing
trip with friends. When this excuse is made, it is end of the discussion.
6. “I am short of Paid leaves Bro”
These are
lazy bums. They spend all their leaves on petty things like ‘wanted to sleep’,
‘Hangover’ and ‘Cousin mama ki shadi’ and they run out of leaves when your trip
is nearing.
7. “It’s the wrong season Bro”
Guys beware!
It’s a trap. Never believe them. They will make you lazy, they will scare you
for climate, They can ever scare you of some virus. Actually they are the virus
you need to be worried about.
8. “Ghar ki shadi hai yar Bro”
He will have
a set of 4 members in the family but what he calls his family touches infinity.
Right from cousin masi to some gaon ka tauji ka beta, everyone’s wedding is
super important for him. Can you see him on the top left corner of the photograph?. Did I forget “mera dhobhi, achha aadmi hai bro”
9. “I am not Backstabbing, I am really caught Bro”
She is the
most dangerous one. She will cancel ahead of what you call “last moment’. They
are actually caught up with something after packing stuffs.
10. “Kahin aur chalo na Bro”
There’s
always this crazy one who never agrees with the crowd. He would end up
cancelling because he will be on the opposite side of the pole. Tell me, who
wants to go to vaisnodevi in 31st December. Do you?
Which one
among this is you, also tag a friend who you think is on the list. You will
surely have atleast one. So, the next time, just pack your ditching friend and
bounce him on the beaches with rough sand.
