Honeymoon Trip to Cold Place – LAG GAYI!

Lag Gayi – This  is the shortest statement that comes to your mind when you cannot tolerate low temperatures and land us in a cold place like Manli or Kashmir or Leh may be. The worst part, if your companion likes cold places too. In such case your inner self wispers to you – “Lag Gayi”
1. You dress up like there is no tomorrow.

You wish you could also cover your eyes and nose too. But somethings are beyond reach.
2. You pack as if you are shifting your wardrobe.

You pack like this  - Jacket? Check. Balaclava? Check. Gloves? Check. Thermal undies? Check. Battery operated warm undies, wait what?
3. You are always around the the most warm-blooded person in your group.

And then sigh involuntarily in relief, giving off all the wrong ideas. Oops!
4. Before asking room availability, you ask for Heater and hot water availability.

And also requesting them to install said heater on your side of the bed.
5. Hot water is good, but how to get undressed for shower

It is more difficult than climbing mount Everest. Oh wait! It is cold too right?
6. You are ridiculously close to the Bonfire.

You look like a roasting chicken tandoori on its way to getting cooked. This is the happiest moment. You also dance here.
7. The answer to “are you feeling cold?” is given by a mere touch of yours.

8. You steal people’s spots just because they’ve pre-warmed them with their butts.

9. You never understand how such cold destinations are honeymoon specials.
I mean you cant even undress for shower, then how do you expect to… you know..
10. You stand in the sunshine like a sunflower.

like if given a chance you will eat it raw
11. Hot food – you eat them even when not hungry.

Hot tea. Hot chocolate. Hot soup. HOT, HOT, HOT.
“Bhaiya, garam dena chahe jo ho! Gudan Garam Milega bhaiya?
12. You shed Happiness tears when you reach a warmer place.

YESSSSSSSS!
So are you a “Cold-fearing-person” too… Share this on your wall to know there are how many like us in the world. Not everyone can bear cold, ordinarily not. And it is alright to be ordinary. Isn’t it?

Signing off! I am feeling cold too… can somebody switch off the AC please.
