Leh Ladakh Bike Trip – Prepare your mind first

A Road Trip to Ladakh would have been in your bucket list from a long time. You must have always wondered and gotten ready for a trip since few years now but had to cancel it due to not having a reliable company. So as a result, your Royal Enfield bike is being used for traveling from home to office. You need to come out of this loop. Don’t wait for anybosy, take a trip solo or join a bike club and get flying. This year take this dream trip.  But this trip is not very easy. You need to prepare yourself mentally and physically. This would require the following from you:

1.  Move out of your comfort mode. Get out of the comfortable couch, switch off the Ac and get started. Don’t push things for tomm while sipping chilled coke and grabbing pizza that was just delivered.

2. Switch on your TRAVELER mode instead of TOURIST mode. You will not find Punjabi food everywhere on the track. Become a traveller and learn to accept things as it comes.

3. Know that the time on road is 8 to 10 hrs minimum everyday and that is a usual thing for all Ladakh tours. Did I not mention that this 8 hours excludes break for food, poop and pee.

4. This trip is not a leisure trip. You travel to offbeat places and camp at sights where there might be no mobile network or hot water. You mentioned it as dream trip. Didn’t you?
5. These are group tours and not individual tours, you would have to be cooperative and punctual. So getting up late and being cozy in bed till late is not for this trip please.
6. You might face rough terrains, landslides, rainfalls, local disturbance and many unforeseen circumstances. But the beauty of the trip is that this tour would be still worth every risk.


In case this trip now looks like a trip that you have waited for, then finalise a date for this trip or look for group going to ladakh by searching online. Else you can always go to lonavala and take an adventure trip at Della or Imagica. People will still like it on Instagram.
