Days 1-3 - Kolkata
Kolkata Begin your journey in
Kolkata, an artistic and cultural hub. Admire the beautiful colonial
architecture, museums and the famous Howrah bridge; walk through the Old Town,
and enjoy the famous Bengali cuisine.
Days 4-5 - Kalimpong
Visit orchid and gladioli
nurseries, see handmade paper production, hike up to the monasteries, shop in
the well stocked handicraft center and end your day with a hot cup of tea.
Days 6-7 - Gangtok
Considered to be one of the last
Himalayan Shangri-las, Gangtok is packed with monasteries and temples to
explore.
Days 8-10 - Pelling
Trek to one of Sikkim’s oldest
monasteries, take in the views of the majestic Kanchejunga, walk through Lepcha
tribal villages, spend time with the monks of Sangachoeling Gompa and take off
on a day trip to
Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksom.

Days 11-13 - Darjeeling

Darjeeling, a collection of mountain villages linked by steps and lanes.

Day 14 - Kolkata
End this journey in Kolkata.
I took this trip last year in
